Healthcare ventilation supply ductwork

Air quality engineered for infection control, not just comfort.

In a ward or theatre, air handling isn't about temperature — it's about what's moving through the air and where it's allowed to go. Here's how we design for that.

The problem we're solving for

Healthcare spaces need more from ventilation than comfort cooling does

General-purpose HVAC is built around temperature and comfort, but healthcare spaces need controlled air pressure relationships between rooms, filtration that actually captures the particulates that matter, and ventilation rates that keep pace with occupancy and clinical activity. Getting any of these wrong doesn't just cause discomfort — it can compromise infection control.

Our Approach

How we design a healthcare air quality system

The same engineering-first process we use across every project, applied to infection-control-driven environments.

1. Room-by-Room Pressure & Airflow Planning

We plan positive and negative pressure relationships room by room, based on clinical function, not a single building-wide airflow assumption.

2. Filtration Matched to Clinical Requirement

Filtration grade is specified to the space's actual clinical use, from general wards through to higher-risk areas, rather than a single filter standard applied everywhere.

3. Ventilation Rate & Fresh-Air Sizing

Fresh-air and air-change rates are calculated against occupancy and activity in each space, wired into our fresh-air systems and mechanical ventilation ranges.

4. Installation Without Disrupting Clinical Operations

Work is sequenced around live clinical areas, with containment and phased handover so patient care isn't interrupted during installation.

After Installation

Built to stay reliable, not just to pass commissioning

Mission Critical Tier

Where downtime isn't an option, we schedule this equipment on our Mission Critical tier — custom frequency, a 24/7 emergency hotline and a guaranteed 4-hour response SLA. See our maintenance plans.

24/7 Breakdown Response

If a process cooling unit does fail outside a scheduled visit, our rapid response team is dispatched immediately, day or night.

100% In-House Technicians

No subcontractors. The technicians who commissioned your system are the same ones who service it.
